Values

HCM’s Leadership defines Spiritual Leadership as: the ability to lead others in character development and ministry skills while being surrendered to Jesus Christ.

HCM defines Spiritual Character as: the ability to follow through on a Godly decision after the emotion of making that decision has gone. Model being a servant through close intimate and appropriate relationships (Matt 20:25-26, 1 Thes 2:5-12)

Set clear, consistent examples (1 Cor 11:1, Phil 3:17) Provide gentle guidance emanating from their own walk with Christ (Gal 5:22, Rom 12:10-18) Do all things with excellence.

HCM is not only a place of adventure but a place of retreat and spiritual enrichment, a place of teaching and learning, a place of “tarrying” as Peter tarried in Joppa, a place of drawing nearer to the Heart of God Himself.

If you would rather be tying a blue dun to a 3X tippet or persuading a big bull with a cow call, or if you just prefer exploring high mountain lakes to sitting in a board room, we invite you to join us on one of our high country adventures.

Our purpose is to encourage and empower men and women towards an understanding and right relationship that God must become first in every aspect of our lives before He can do His good work in us. High Country Ministries is not just a name, it reflects our desire. A desire to help people draw near to and be captured by the Heart of God as they climb higher and higher on their life’s journey.

If you would like to hear more about this ministry where men, women, and families have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the Heart of God high in the Colorado Rockies, or if you would like to have Roger come to speak at your church or your organization, please feel free to email us or just give us a call.
